The alto flute transposes down a 4th using the normal C flute fingering , The courante AF200  is designed by our chosen factory we order from, which makes a wide range of upper-end flutes, from advanced student to professional. This is a new innovative design for slightly smaller hands but can be played by all hand sizes, whereby the normal stretch of fingers on alto flutes, which is considerable and takes some getting used to, is made easier.
